The market for media technology is in a constant state of change due to many innovative further developments and is thus becoming increasingly confusing for decision-makers.

We have made it our business to provide our customers with the highest possible market transparency so that they can make optimal decisions on this basis. The following guidelines are the focus of our business activities:

We always offer our customers qualified, manufacturer-independent and friendly advice. We see ourselves as composers of technical components in audiovisual communication. Our goal is a smooth project flow in the sense of “full service”. For larger projects we name a fixed contact person for our customers. We consistently orient ourselves to the current state of the art and develop existing standards further, if possible.

PIK AG is aware of its responsibility in the fields of occupational safety, quality management, sustainability, health protection and social society. Just as we stand for progressive and high-quality solutions in our fields of activity media technology, communication technology and presentation technology as specialists, we also promote the occupational health and safety of our employees, invest in sustainability and environmental compatibility, constantly improve our quality standards and get involved in many social areas – keyword:  commitment.

In accordance with the requirements, we have anchored and internalized the following guiding principles in our corporate policy:

• The success of the company depends on its employees. For this reason, the preservation and promotion of the safety, health and motivation of our team enjoys the highest priority.
• PIK AG focuses on raising awareness and sensitization regarding this topic by actively supporting, training and educating its employees and thus contributes to the prevention of accidents, health hazards, injuries, occupational diseases as well as environmental damage and damage to property.
• Furthermore, the environmental policy of PIK AG includes the obligation to comply with all labour, environmental and health laws, all safety regulations and all other requirements.
• Continuous cooperation in these areas with customers, subcontractors, suppliers and other institutions ensures compliance with occupational safety and health protection, promotes it and is also conducive to an increase in quality.
• The constant examination, improvement and further development of occupational safety measures, health protection measures and environmental protection measures as well as all work processes is regarded as a continuous task of all employees of PIK AG. An active and constructive participation is explicitly welcomed and encouraged by the management.
• A sustainable pillar to be able to carry out our work processes, tasks and enterprises effectively and efficiently in the future is a well implemented quality management system. Our company has been certified according to ISO 9001 for several years. In 2016, we were thus already able to implement the 2015 revision of the standard.
• PIK AG promotes measures for the improvement of health and well-being at the workplace within the scope of the company health promotion. We also declare our agreement with the Luxembourg Declaration on Workplace Health Promotion in the European Union.
• Our company continues to recognize the ten principles of the United Nations Global Compact: Human rights (Principle 1-2) Businesses should support and respect the protection of international human rights and ensure that they are not complicit in human rights abuses.
  Labour standards (Principles 3-6) Businesses should uphold the freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining. They should also work for the elimination of all forms of forced and compulsory labour and the abolition of child labour. Businesses should work to eliminate discrimination in respect of employment and occupation.
  Environmental Protection (Principles 7-9) Businesses should adopt the precautionary approach to environmental challenges, take initiatives to promote greater environmental awareness and accelerate the development and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies.
  Combating Corruption (Principle 10) Businesses should work against all forms of corruption, including extortion and bribery.
