As a licensed user, you can take advantage of all the available functionality that Avaya Scopia Mobile V3 has to offer. But even without a license you can participate in video conferences and view shared presentations and other documents without any problems. All you need is an Internet-enabled and mobile iOS or Android device and an Internet connection.

The app for mobile devices is free and enables video conferences with standards-based HD telepresence systems and unified communication clients.

Functionalities optimized for mobile devices

Like the desktop version Avaya Scopia Desktop, the mobile version also features H.264 Slacable Video Coding for maximum fault tolerance against network errors and H.264 High Profile for efficient bandwidth usage. An important component for mobile devices is NetSense.

This function monitors the connection quality and dynamically switches from HD video to video. With the mobile version, participating in a video conference is just as easy and independent of the video conference system used on site as via the desktop. One click on the e-mail link or the entry in the calendar of the mobile device is enough and you can participate.

Also the different functionalities do not differ. You can share and comment on documents and applications with the other subscribers and see up to 28 subscribers on your display at the same time. The recording function saves the contents of the video conference for later access. Comprehensive administration and moderation options complement the comprehensive package of various functionalities.

Mute the microphones of individual participants or interrupt individual connections if necessary. Easily invite additional participants via telephone number, IP address or direct directory access.

Avaya Scopia

Since security is also a high priority for mobile devices, the mobile Scopia version also has an integrated firewall and NAT traversal for secure and barrier-free cross-network communication. This ensures compliance with all internal company security guidelines from the mobile end device as well.

Avaya Scopia Mobile V3 was developed for mobile devices with the operating systems Android from version 2.3.3 and iOs from version 5.1. Android devices require a dual core 1 GHz CPU.
